What’s the microbiome?
How can it help foster health and longevity?
Black Lab, division of Blackfoot, is the only gut microbiome testing service for pets in Singapore. They talk about how we can foster a diverse microbiome in our pet through dietary changes to alleviate health issues as well as to cultivate greater health. Black Lab is the second company in the world to manufacture Fecal Microbiota Transplant pills for pet microbiome transplant and will share on the science behind FMT pills.
Kymberlie Chong
Kymberlie Chong served as the director of a regional company before resigning to spend more time with her children when her Schnauzer, August, left her. During her hiatus, she found her calling, delving into the area of animal nutrition and microbiology. She joined Blackfoot as both consultant and contributor, playing crucial roles during testing and analysis to help establish Black Lab, the only pet microbiome testing service in Singapore and the second company in the world to produce Fecal Microbiota Transplant pills for pets. Kymberlie has since worked with European microbiologists the last four years to understand the pet microbiome and how FMT pills can optimally be produced. When she is not playing with poop, Kymberlie likes to cook. Her children are always suspicious of her food. |
